The Lascaris War Rooms are a preserved underground complex in Valletta's ditch, used as the Allied fighter sector operations room during the Battle of Malta in 1940-43. Visitors can explore the original tunnels, a dedicated Operation Husky exhibition on the 1943 invasion of Sicily, and a museum housing two original WWII tanks - a Matilda and an M3 Stuart. The venue operates Monday to Saturday and is family-friendly.
