The Ggantija Archaeological Park in Xaghra, Gozo, preserves two of the world's oldest free-standing stone temples, dating back over 5,500 years and predating both Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. Managed by Heritage Malta, the site includes a visitor centre with interactive exhibits, on-site facilities, and wheelchair-accessible paths. Open six days a week (closed Tuesdays), it is suitable for families and a highlight of any visit to Gozo.
